Plume

"Plume" is a new project that traces the traces of the radioactive cloud that occurred during the nuclear accident. A radioactive cloud once flowed northwest from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and rainfall there caused the damage to become even greater. High radiation levels, known as hotspots, were created, and many temporary storage sites were built there. I am still recording this evolution.

In addition to using photographs I have taken myself, I am also using Google Earth to consider the record-keeping properties of photography as a medium.
